PHYSIOENERGETIC THERAPY EVALUATION (within the state of CA)

The Physioenergetic Therapy evaluation involves an in-depth life review interview from birth (including in utero and intergenerational trauma) to the present to compassionately listen and collect a comprehensive life history from the individual or family. The goal is to treat total pain in life defined as physical, emotional, social, generational and spiritual. The life history is then aligned with the medical history and ACEs screening to detect the root life-threatening experiences catalyzing the body into survival mode, often long after the trauma was buried and forgotten. Yet, the body stores the memories, sensations and emotions including terror, shame, anger and guilt in regions of the body that later radiate pain signals. These invisible wounds can alter the ANS for three generations. Current research identifies that childhood trauma seizes operations of autonomic nervous system elevating heart rate, breathing rate, heightening the senses, and pushing circulation away from the digestive system where most of immunity function occurs to the extremities to fortify the musculature to protect itself from perceived life-threatening experiences.

At Centripetal Force Studio, Gina Calderone, MPT, identified one of the early indicators of the ACEs is the trauma posture – the neck and shoulders round forward, the rib cages slides back, and the hips tuck as the body curls inward to protect itself essentially the vital organs. Overtime, this trauma posture or standing closed fetal leads to weakened core and abdominal strength and overall feeling of powerless reinforcing and repeating

victimhood that unconsciously attracts bullies and predators. To stay in a protective standing fetal position or trauma posture closes a person off to intimacy, connection, and limits emotions to protection—fear, anger, and sadness as opposed to opening to joy, love, connection and intimacy. Gina also identified that the body is a map that can uncover disruptions in neurodevelopment from in utero through childhood and into adulthood. These disruptions can be triggered by a parent’s past or present trauma, which can inhibit the motor skills and necessary life skills development of the child. The Physioenergetic Therapy evaluation also includes identifying protective postures and limiting range of motion in the painful regions of the musculoskeletal system. Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is taken as a baseline during the evaluation to identify the person’s ability to move from sympathetic to the parasympathetic branches of the ANS. The HRV is measured throughout treatment at various intervals to determine successful outcomes. This comprehensive evaluation also includes a Physioenergetic Anatomy work-up that guides the treatment plan moving forward.

PHYSIOENERGETIC CONSULTATION (out of the state of CA)

Gina Calderone, MPT, physical therapist and chronic pain expert, designed a Virtual Physioenergetic Consultation to serve out-of-state individuals. This consultation involves helping clients to uncover the generational and emotional roots of chronic pain and puzzling diseases through understanding how life experiences can disrupt the physiological systems and anatomical structures of the body. Gina and her team draw on Physioenergetic Anatomy, an emotional map of the physical body (see more below), combined with the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) screening, reviewing health history and emotional life experiences to pinpoint invisible wounds. This detective process includes an in-depth life review interview from birth (including in utero and intergenerational trauma) to the present. The life history is then aligned with the health history and ACEs to detect the root life-threatening experiences catalyzing the autonomic nervous system into survival mode, often long after the trauma was buried and forgotten. Yet, the body stores the memories, sensations and emotions including fear, shame, anger and guilt in regions of the body that later radiate pain signals. Current research identifies that childhood trauma hijacks operations of autonomic nervous system elevating heart rate, breathing rate, heightening the senses, and pushing circulation away from the digestive system where most of immunity function occurs to the extremities to fortify the musculature to protect itself from perceived life-threatening experiences.

The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is known in eastern philosophies as the energy system or chi driven by a complex network of stored life experiences, sensations, thoughts, beliefs, generational programming, injuries including neglect, poverty, and war wounds for survival. The landscape of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) mainly developed in childhood is an exquisite web of electricity, survival programs similar to algorithms and neural hubs like small brains, also known as energy centers governing certain organ and hormonal systems with varying frequencies to transmit, broadcast, receive and connect information internally and externally to maintain health, safety and survival. Physioenergetic Anatomy developed by Gina Calderone, MPT, is an emotional map of the physical body involving the energy centers starting from the sacrum at the base of the spine and ascending toward the crown

She uses this map to chart a course for detecting invisible wounds in the body and the roots of trauma in the family. These invisible wounds can alter the autonomic nervous system for three generations. The deficiency or hyperactivity of energy in certain neural hubs of the body can lead to sleep disruptions, hypervigilance, sensory issues, fogginess, respiratory, urinary, sexual, digestive, behavioral, mood, learning and intimacy problems.

This Physioenergetic Consultation is particularly appropriate for people who may have exhausted medical and physical interventions to treat their chronic pain. Some of the techniques used in the consultation include sensory exercises, breathwork, guided imagery to connect physical and emotional pain, and meditations to clear the negative emotions that the body may be storing to return calm and balance. These techniques can help you discover how to free your body of stuck, heavy and painful emotional patterns, which can restore a feeling of safety, opening up the pathway for success with medical and rehabilitative interventions.

Our Physioenergetic Consultation services consist of:

  • Reviewing your health and trauma history, sleep habits, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and emotional life experiences
  • Providing insight into how the above might be related to your current physical health
  • Bringing a level of consciousness to how your emotions might be interfering with your physical health
  • Understanding how generational and emotional pain can contribute to physical pain in your body
  • Providing meditations, guided imagery, sensory exercises, breathing and other techniques to clear the negative emotions that the body may be harboring and return balance.
